The Green Bay Packers know that going into the 2025 season, the NFC North could very well once again be one of the best divisions in football.  Three teams won 11 or more games, including two who won 14+.  It was an unprecedented year for a division, and likely won’t happen two years in a row.

However, that doesn’t mean the NFC North won’t be one of the best divisions in football.

The NFC North is already seeing Ben Johnson as a confident coach.

Following his introduction as the Chicago Bears’ new head coach on Wednesday, Johnson immediately took shots at the team’s northern rivals:

The 38-year-old former Detroit Lions offensive coordinator discussed staying in the NFC North, then took aim at the Green Bay Packers and their head coach Matt LaFleur.

“I wanted to stay in this division. It’s the toughest division in football right now,” Johnson said. He added, “I kind of enjoyed beating Matt LaFleur twice this year.”

“To be quite frank with you, I kinda enjoyed beating Matt LaFleur twice a year.”
