The Green Bay Packers had a remarkable season come to an unfortunate end. Green Bay climbed to an 11-4 record this season, however, they would end their season on a three-game losing streak. The way the season ended certainly left a sour taste in their mouths.
However, one starter may have taken it too far.

According to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic:
Keisean Nixon after a season with the new kickoff:
“I don’t really want to do it no more. There’s going to be talks with the coaching staff and stuff like that, but I think it’s over with for me.”
“I want to be CB1. CB1 is not doing kick returns. That’s just what it is.”
The Green Bay Packers failed to recover from Keisean Nixon’s fumble with the opening kickoff. It was all downhill from there.
This was the first of a series of mistakes that cost the Packers their season.
The Packers lost two of their top three receivers, several starters on the offensive line, and several starters on the defensive line, and their replacements contributed to some costly mistakes.
