The Green Bay Packers are looking to fine tune their roster with just a few weeks to go before the playoffs. Green Bay (11-4) has a daunting road test on Sunday where they’ll travel to US Bank Stadium to take on the 13-2 Minnesota Vikings.
Minnesota is playing for the number one seed in the NFC. One recent move by Green Bay, however, didn’t exactly excite fans.
“That’s Not Good” Packers Fans React Over Latest Signing Prior To Vikings Matchup (Report)

According to our very own Robin Adams:
For the second week in a row, the Packers have elevated safety Omar Brown from their practice squad. With Williams out and Bullard questionable, they need some depth at that particular position.
Last week, Brown made his NFL debut against the Saints and played 14 total snaps.
An undrafted free agent out of Nebraska, Brown was originally signed by the Denver Broncos after the 2024 NFL Draft. However, he did not make their 53-man roster and was cut in late August.
A few days later, Green Bay signed him to their practice squad.
The Packers are suffering injuries at this stage of the season, just like all NFL teams. This and the fact that Green Bay already has a playoff spot in hand have forced them to withdraw several players from their Week 17 game against the Vikings.
Among them is former Pro Bowl cornerback Jaire Alexander, who suffered a torn PCL in Week Eight. Many fans believed that this move may indicate something long-term for Jaire Alexander.
It will be interesting to see when/if Alexander can return for a playoff run.
