The Green Bay Packers have some of the most passionate fans in the NFL. When their players go on to other teams, they’ll often follow that player’s career. That was no different on Sunday, but unfortunately, this update wasn’t a good one.
A former wide receiver was on the receiving end of a brutal hit.
“Oh My God, No!” Packers Fans Devastated After Former Player Left Motionless On Field (Report)
Packer’s practice squad likely hoped wide receiver Grant DuBose would clear waivers prior to the 2024 season so he could be re-signed. He was, however, claimed the following day by the Miami Dolphins. Today, he suffered a life changing injury:
The Texans are already playing without linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair who was suspended for his illegal hit on Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence. If the team was hoping to avoid the “dirty” label with Al-Shaair on the shelf, they did themselves no favors on Sunday.
DuBose was the victim of an absolutely dirty hit to the head by safety Calen Bullock while he was defenseless. The impact knocked him out.
Team medical personnel had to cut off his jersey before placing him on a stretcher and having him transported to the locker room.
