President Donald Trump will attend the Super Bowl in New Orleans this Sunday, a White House official confirmed to NBC News Tuesday:

It is unclear when President Trump is expected to arrive in the city for the game.

The Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles will face each other in the Caesars Superdome on Sunday.  This is not President Trump’s first visit to the city.

He made numerous campaign stops in the city last year ahead of the presidential election.

His attendance at the game comes as the city has ramped up security efforts following a terror attack that killed 14 people and injured 57 others on New Year’s Day.

Packers Fans Were Quick To React To This News
