The Packers have had a great history of drafting well. The Packers always tend to find steals and develop players well. However, there are always busts After Sunday’s game, Packers fans are calling for one of those busts to be gone. After Sunday’s loss, Packers fans are calling for the team to cut Amari Rodgers.
Packers Fans Want Amari Rodgers Cut
It has not been a great first quarter of the season for Amari Rodgers. This year was a prove it year for him and he has proven nothing. This was on display on Sunday when during a punt return he coughed up the ball (again). Fortunately, it landed in the hands of another Packer but the damage was done. It was at that point that Packers fans started to turn on him. There was a small few, myself included, that were trying to hold on to hope that Amari Rodgers would be able to turn into something even if it was just a return specialist. After Sunday, no one is left in that camp.
Amari Rodgers Reactions
I have scoured the internet for someone defending Amari Rodgers but I cannot find anyone. People aren’t even hoping for the Packers to look for a trade. They just want Amari Rodgers gone.
Packers should let Amari Rodgers go, maybe he can find better success elsewhere.

This Packers fan isn’t necessarily upset with Amari Rodgers. Players don’t work out for a variety of reasons. It simply might be time to accept this isn’t working an move on. Some fans were not so polite with their words.
Amari Rodgers should not be on an NFL roster. Disappointing.

This fan doesn’t even think that Amari Rodgers should be on an NFL roster. That may be a little harsh but he has definitely not done anything to convince anyone that he has a place in the NFL. This last fan sums it up nicely.
I was happy for the Amari pick. All of us were. I was wrong about him. All it’s doing is compounding an issue that doesn’t need to be compounded. Can’t hit all picks. It’s fine. Release Amari Rodgers @packers

Sometimes picks don’t pan out. It’s okay. Drafting is an impossible puzzle to solve. Admitting your mistake and getting a player that can actually make an impact is better than hanging on to the player hoping he magically improves.
This would not be the first time the Packers abruptly cut someone after a subpar performance. Ty Montgomery fumbles a kick off one week and disappears the next. The Packers could explore trades but I can’t imagine his value is very high. Whatever they decide to do, Packers fans are ready for the team to cut Amari Rodgers.
