The interception heard ’round the world continues to be the talk, and rightfully so. Green Bay Packers cornerback Keisean Nixon’s pick of Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams‘ toss near the end of Sunday’s game at Lambeau Field should be talked about for a long time.
With that incredible defensive play, Nixon sealed the 28-21 win over the Bears and reclaimed the top spot in the NFC North standings.
It also gave fellow cornerback Evan Williams a reason to let out a big sigh of relief.
“I’ll say, he was saving my butt on that play,” Williams said about Nixon’s interception (via Kyle Malzhan of WFRV Local 5). “I was praying someone was behind me to make a play on the corner and sure enough Jesus himself, #25, came out the blue.”

Nixon can’t walk on water or turn water into wine, but he indeed played the role of a savior for Green Bay when the team needed one the most in Week 14.
Williams wasn’t too shabby either overall in the Bears game. He finished the contest with seven total tackles and a pass defended. He also still leads Green Bay in the 2025 NFL regular season with three interceptions.
Green Bay now has four different players with at least an interception in the 2025 campaign. Apart from Williams and Nixon, safety Xavier McKinney and linebacker Isaiah McDuffie each have an interception to date.
Green Bay will need its defense to step up anew in Week 15, when the Packers face off against the 11-win Denver Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High.
