Former Green Bay Packers star offensive lineman David Bakhtiari has not seen action in the NFL since the 2023 season, and it doesn’t seem as though he’s going to play again in the league. But at his peak, he was among the game’s best in the trenches.

He reminded everyone about on Monday, with a social media post on X (formerly Twitter) that grabbed people’s attention.

“Guy can ball. Much respect for Khalil Mack.  Curious: someone find his career stat line against me all time? I wanna see something,” Bakhtiari wrote as caption for a re-post of a graphic that asks which franchise should Mack belong to.

Mack is still a very good player, but he was an especially destructive defensive weapon during his younger days in the NFL.

But as Bakhtiari insinuated, he knew how to handle Mack.

And he got help from Pro Football Focus to prove his point.

“0 pressures allowed, 0 sacks allowed,” PFF’s official X account responded to Bakhtiari’s post.

Bakhtiari also has three Pro Bowls and a couple of All-Pro nod to show why he’s such an important piece of the Aaron Rodgers-led Green Bay attack during his time in Titletown.

Now 34-years-old, Bakhtiari was selected by Green Bay in the fourth round (109th overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft. Injuries have cost him much time in his last three seasons in the NFL, during which he only appeared in a total of 14 games, with 11 in the 2022 campaign.
