Green Bay Packers fans have paid close attention to the legends that this team has moved on from in recent years.  Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams, Mason Crosby, Aaron Jones, and David Bakhtiari are just a few names Green Bay has moved on from.

However, it’s Davante Adams who is garnering massive attention from Packers fans.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport:

Sources: The #Jets are now taking calls on star WR Davante Adams, open to trading him prior to the start of the league year. No surprise with his $38.2M cap number.

If they can’t get a deal, they are expected to release Adams, who could rejoin QB Aaron Rodgers with a new team.

After the news broke, Green Bay fans were all saying the same thing:

Kill two birds with one trade

Why would they not be able to work out a trade? Surely anything is better than releasing?

    Yes.
