The Packers are entering Saturday night’s NFC Wild Card showdown against the Chicago Bears a beaten and beleaguered bunch.
All-Pro Micah Parsons and dominant run-stuffer Devonte Wyatt have long been lost for the season, and running back Josh Jacobs aims for his play to back up the big-talk this week that he feels healthy as he has this season, despite battling nagging injuries down the stretch.
However, the Bears might just be vulnerable in one of the worst possible positions, ahead of a matchup against Jordan Love and Green Bay.
Jordan Love, Packers could exploit the Bears’ slot cornerbacks in NFL Playoffs

The Bears could be without C.J. Gardner-Johnson and Kyler Gordon, though Gordon is listed as questionable which opens the door to him playing against the NFC North rivals.
However, as PackersWire points out, if neither Gardner-Johnson nor Gordon are available, third-string defensive back Nick McCloud may be pressed into action and that may present an opportunity for Love and the Packers’ offense to feast.
“McCloud has missed the past two games with an illness,” Brandon Carwile writes for PackersWire. “When covering the slot this season, McCloud has allowed two touchdown passes and a perfect 158.3 passer rating into his coverage, per PFF.”
In a game littered with big names across both injury reports, the most important of all might be in the Bears’ secondary, at least when it comes to the Packers’ offense’s chances of taking flight.
