The Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers have seen their fair share of injuries this season. Quarterback Dak Prescott missed several weeks after sustaining a thumb injury in Week 1. He came back for the Cowboys in Week 7 against the Detroit Lions. The Packers have seen their wide receiving corps decimated by injuries. As well as their linebackers on defense. A major injury update prior to Dallas and Green Bay kicking off was regarding Dallas’ star running back Ezekiel Elliott.
Elliott sustained a knee sprain and has been sidelined since. It has been unclear earlier this week if Elliott would play against the Green Bay Packers. According to Jon Machota with The Athletic, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones expected Elliott to play against the Packers in Week 10. However, that is not the case.

Dallas will be without their leading rusher today, as running back Ezekiel Elliott has been ruled out of the Week 10 contest against the Green Bay Packers. The seventh-year veteran will miss his second-straight game. He sat out during Dallas’ 49-29 victory over the Chicago Bears two weeks ago.
The bye week was not enough rest for Elliot’s hyperextended knee he suffered on a hit in Week 7 against the Lions. Instead, RB Tony Pollard will once again be the focus of the rushing attack. He will be complimented by UDFA rookie Malik Davis. Practice squad call-up Qadree Ollison will be the team’s third back
