The Chicago Bears have been the all time winningest team from the first decade. That was untill now. Green Bay Packers has tied the Bears for the record at 785 wins. The Packers can become the winningest NFL team ever with a win and a Chicago loss. Taking the crown off their rival for the first time in almost 100 years.
The Bears took a dominant lead in the 1920’s and 1930’s and never looked back. They have been the most dominant franchise over the entire NFL life span. Yet in recent years Green Bay has been out winning them to catch up. You gotta believe Vince Lombardi is smiling as he watches from above.
Chicago has held the record since the beginning and now could lose it. Last Sunday both teams lost their games which kept them tied . So the suspense continues for now. Regardless it seems inevitable that the Packers can and will take the lead at some point this season. As they are predicted to be a playoff team and the Bears aren’t. So for the foreseeable future it seems the Packers will be the all time winningest team.
