Matt LaFleur suddenly has the opportunity to reunite with a familiar face as the Green Bay Packers continue their search for a new quarterbacks coach.
After the Houston Texans fired offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik Friday, it wouldn’t be the least bit surprising to see LaFleur make a play to bring him to Green Bay.
After all, LaFleur and Slowik were on the same coaching staff at the University of Washington together back in 2013, and it could stand to reason that the Packers may view his experience as a play-caller as an asset in helping elevate Jordan Love and perhaps LaFleur may value his game-planning influence, as well.

Over the past two seasons, Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud completed 63.5 percent of his passes for 7,835 yards with 43 touchdowns to 17 interceptions. However, the Texans’ disappointing showing, overall, on offense down the stretch this season and in a playoff loss to the Kansas City Chief ultimately cost Slowik his job.
As LaFleur and the Packers continue their search for a quarterbacks coach, Slowik could wind up being a strong fit.

This is just a suggestion, try to get Crosby with back up quarterback Willis in the trade, raiders are in need of a quarterback and you are looking to cut to make some financial room, just a suggestion
