The Green Bay Packers defeated the Chicago Bears by the final score of 20-19 on Sunday afternoon. As many are aware, it was the Packers’ 11th consecutive win against their oldest rivals. Indeed, Green Bay has not lost to Chicago since before Matt LaFleur took over as head coach of the team. Nearly every player on the Packers roster, in fact, has not ever lost to the Bears while wearing the Green and Gold.

Of course, the win, which improved Green Bay to 7-3, came in dramatic fashion. As Cairo Santos attempted to kick the game-winning 46-yard field goal that would have given the Bears their first win in the rivalries last half decade, defensive lineman Karl Brooks leaped at the line of scrimmage and just barely blocked the ball with the tip of his finger.

The attempt fell dead, and the Packers won.

Green Bay Packers Fans React to Bears HC Matt Eberflus Complaining to the NFL

On Monday, it was reported that Bears head coach Matt Eberflus had told Chicago reporters that he and the organization were sending a video of the final play of the game to the league office. According to him, Chicago believes that Green Bay committed a penalty on the play and that the blocked kick should not have counted.

Packers fans reacted as one might have expected them to:

#Packers coach Matt LaFleur says they’ll turn in Sundays game pivotal no call false start to the league office because the #Bears “clearly moved” and felt a penalty could’ve been called. No flag was thrown pic.twitter.com/0jabKlNlWZ https://t.co/5mnLnqKLXM

You can clearly see nobody lined up over the long snapper. Y’all some losers @ChicagoBears https://t.co/LuXOkQlCXd

Obviously, Green Bay’s fans do not believe a flag was warranted on the play. The video, too, shows that the Packers’ linemen are not guilty of the penalty of which Eberflus is accusing them.

It is worth nothing, on the topic of penalties

, that Green Bay was flagged just three times all game against Chicago. Going into the Bye Week, the Packers were one of the highest penalized teams in the NFL.
