The Packers Week 9 injury report has a lot of names on it
The Green Bay Packers were short-handed in their Week 8 loss to the Buffalo Bills. A couple of important players were injured in the first half of that game. The team desperately needs players to become healthy, with the Packers making no moves at the trade deadline. The Packers Week 9 injury report is not promising before the team’s must-win game against the Detroit Lions.
According to the injury report released by the Packers Wednesday afternoon, five key players were on the list. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers, offensive linemen David Bakhtiari and Elgton Jenkins, and wide receivers Christian Watson and Allen Lazard were big names on the report. Lazard’s limited return to practice was good news, as he had his arm in a sling last week. The team had better hope some of them are healthy enough to play against their divisional rival this weekend.
