“I Won’t Tell Him That” Aaron Rodgers’ Teammate Refuses To Recruit Players To Play With Him (Breaking)

The New York Jets are going through a terrible 2024 campaign.  Aaron Rodgers’ return has not resulted in what the organization had hoped.  The team is 4-12 with one game remaining in the season.   That is the complete opposite of their expectations heading into the season.

Now players won’t even recruit new players to their team.

In a post on social media, Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner appeared to take shots at his own team. After a fan responded to Gardner’s comment asking him to encourage Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins to come to New York, Gardner commented on Higgins’ Instagram post:

“@saucegardner tell him come to da jets,” the fan said.

Gardner had a staunch reply for the fan.

“I will NOT be telling him that.”

“Embarrassing? I don’t even know if that’s the word,” Gardner said. “You’re telling me now it’s 40-0? If you ask me that means it’s the end of the season, obviously we’re not going to the playoffs, some people might be checked out. That’s just me going off speculation and what I’m getting at. You know what I’m saying?… We, quote un-quote, enhanced our roster in all areas.

That just tells me we can’t be playing as a team. We’re probably just individuals. Last year, the year before, we had a roster that wasn’t as talented as this roster, and we found ways to beat the Bills. We found ways to win. What’s stopping that now?”
