The Green Bay Packers appeared to have “won” the Aaron Rodgers trade with the New York Jets. While Green Bay’s season ended on a three game losing streak, many feel this team is just a few pieces away from competing for a championship.
New York, meanwhile, missed the playoffs each of the last two seasons and fired their head coach. They’ve also decided to move on from Aaron Rodgers.
However, it might be harder for Rodgers to find work than he originally thought.
“We Don’t Want Him” Former Packers QB Aaron Rodgers Sees Starter Beg His Team Not To Sign Him

A player has publicly stated that Rodgers is not welcome on his team following some less than stellar seasons with the New York Jets:
“Given that Aaron made the effort to fly back to discuss his future, all signs point to him continuing to play,” wrote Glazer. “It just won’t be for the Jets,” he added, with ESPN and the NFL network journalists also reporting Rodgers’ split with the Jets.
In response to rumors that Rodgers could end up at the Pittsburg Steelers, safety DeShon Elliott gave an emphatic rebuke, reported CBS Sports.

“Leave his a– at the retirement home,” commented Elliott under an Instagram post. ESPN reported that the Steelers have had trouble with maintaining a consistent quarterback line up.
The comment appears to have been since deleted, but the sentiment still resonated with NFL fans.
