There are two things that are always going to be true about Aaron Jones. First he is going to be a factor on the football field. Secondly, he’s going to build up his community off of it. The Green Bay Packers announced that their star running back has once again been nominated for the NFL’s Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.

In a statement, Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy said:
“We are honored to nominate Aaron for this prestigious award. We are incredibly proud of him for the great work he does both on and off the field. His A&A All the Way Foundation has had such an influence on the kids and families it serves. He has also been a devoted contributor to our Packers Give Back efforts, including serving as our Salute to Service spokesperson this year. We are so fortunate to have him in Green Bay. He is an amazing young man and a tremendous role model for all of our players.”
In addition to his work with numerous organizations dedicated to current and former service members, Jones works with the Boys and Girls Club of America, his own A&A All the Way Foundation, and children’s hospitals to make an impact on the lives of kids.
The winner of the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award during NFL Honors, which will be aired on the Thursday before the Super Bowl.
Fans can vote for the Walter Payton Man of the Year on Twitter using the hashtag #WPMOYChallenge along with a nominee’s name. The nominee with the most votes will get a $25,000 donation to their charity of choice.
