There is a lot of negativity about the Packers after the loss to the Washington Commanders. In times like this, it is important to look for the positives. The past couple of games has shown that the Packers may have hit on many of the 2022 draft picks. The Green Bay Packers 2022 draft class looks incredible.
The Packers 2022 Draft Class Looks Incredible So Far
Here is an optimistic tweet
You ready?
Zach Tom looked extremely comfortable at LT today vs one of the best fronts in the NFL.
Enagbare has gotten better every week
Doubs has flashed but isn’t ready to be a WR1 (yet)
Watson has been open when he has played.
2022 class 👍🏻

The Packers have asked many rookies to make an immediate impact. While some are struggling, the potential is there. This is the case, especially for rookie wide receivers Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson. They both have struggled, but the talent can be seen on the field. Watson can get open and his speed is unmatched. Doubs has the potential to be the Packers’ next great wide receiver but just needs more polish. He reminds me a lot of how Davante Adams started his career. You could see the potential but he was just so raw. He then blossomed into one of the best receivers in the game. This could be a path that Doubs is taking.
Kingsley Enagbare Has Been A Surprise
One player that the Packers did not expect to make an immediate impact on was Kingsley Enagbare. He has gotten some reps as Rashan Gary has dealt with a toe injury and a concussion in Sunday’s game. He has shown up in big ways. Enagbare has had a sack in each of the last two games and is a constant nuisance in the backfield. The Packers came into the season with questions at outside linebacker and Enagbare may just be the answer.
Zach Tom May Be The Best Of Them All
I’m going to gush about Zach Tom. He started at left tackle today on short notice. David Bakhtiari was a late scratch and Tom was thrust into the role. The left tackle position is one of the most important in football as it protects the blind side of the quarterback. Tom played a near-flawless game. Very little pressure was put on Rodgers today. The running game, when they actually decided to hand it off, picked up big chunk plays. The Packers may have found their next great lineman in the draft in Zach Tom.
All teams miss on some draft picks but Brain Gutekunst has hit on more than he has missed. I didn’t even mention Quay Walker in this article and he also played well in the first third of the season. There have been many that have called for the Packers to trade picks for a wide receiver. This draft class shows why Gutekunst and the Packers are reluctant to do so. If they can find talent on all three days of the draft, there is little incentive to trade those picks. Time will tell how these players develop but right now, the Green Bay Packers 2022 draft class looks incredible.
