Ousmane Dieng shined in Milwaukee’s 110-93 road win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, scoring 17 points, grabbing three rebounds, and committing no turnovers while shooting 6-of-10 from the field and 5-of-8 from three, setting a career high in three-pointers made.

Dieng experienced a whirlwind around the trade deadline, moving from Charlotte to Chicago before landing in Milwaukee, and he is already making a noticeable impact with his new team.

“I’ve been four years in OKC with a really deep team, so it was not easy every day. But I know my work. I know I give everything every game. So yeah, it’s a good opportunity for me and Im’ma make the most of it every time I step on the floor,” remarked the Bucks newest weapon.

The Bucks took command with a 20-4 stretch in the second quarter after Oklahoma City erased an eight-point deficit to equalize.

Kyle Kuzma scored nine points during the spurt, with Dieng adding six, and the Thunder never managed to get closer than seven points after that run.

Bucks coach Doc Rivers missed the team’s final game before the All-Star break to attend a funeral, with Darvin Ham stepping in as Milwaukee’s acting head coach on Thursday.

AJ Green contributed 17 points as part of a balanced effort in which seven Bucks players reached double figures.

The 93 points marked only the second time this season the Thunder scored under 100. It was also Oklahoma City’s lowest output in a regular-season game since March 24, 2024, when the Bucks held them to the same total.

Ousmane Dieng and the Bucks carry a five-win stretch into the All-Star break, snapping Oklahoma City’s two-game streak in the process. Since Giannis Antetokounmpo went down with a calf injury, Milwaukee has posted a 5-4 record.
