Nick Oliver’s coaching journey has been marked by success and accolades. In his first year as head coach of the Fargo Force, he led the team to 40 victories and amassed a league-best 88 points. This performance earned the franchise its first Anderson Cup as USHL regular-season champions. Oliver’s achievements were recognized as he was named the USHL Coach of the Year. The Force’s success carried over into the postseason, where they reached the Clark Cup Final, further solidifying Oliver’s coaching prowess.
Prior to his tenure in Fargo, Oliver served as an assistant coach at his alma mater, St. Cloud State. During his four seasons with the Huskies, Oliver played a vital role in the team’s 81-44-9 record. His coaching contributions helped St. Cloud State capture an NCHC regular-season title, secure a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament, and make an appearance in the Frozen Four.
