Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love was one of the hottest stories for this franchise during the 2023 season. Now that the season is officially over, it is time to turn the page toward the 2024 season. Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson won the MVP Award this past season.
It was the second time in his NFL career he won the award. Jackson also won the award during the 2019 season. According to FanDuel Sportsbook, he has the fifth-best odds to win the award next season at +1200 odds. To no surprise, the top three favorites to win this award next season are quarterback Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs (+650), quarterback Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills (+800), and quarterback Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals (+1000).
Those were the favorites to enter this past season as well. There could be some party crashers for the award in 2024 and time will tell what happens.
Green Bay Packers Quarterback Jordan Love Has +1400 Odds On FanDuel Sportsbook To Win the NFL MVP Next Season
What is fascinating is that Jordan Love has the seventh-best odds to win the NFL MVP next season. The six quarterbacks that are ranked ahead of him are all from the AFC. The other two that are mentioned ahead of him are Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud (+1100) and Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert (+1300).
The fact that Love is the highest ranked quarterback to win the NFL MVP next season from the NFC Conference is very telling. Vegas must think that Jordan Love has the highest ceiling out of all the quarterbacks in that conference for 2024.
The betting odds also think that the Packers will have the best quarterback in the NFC North next season. Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys, Brock Purdy of the San Francisco 49ers, Jalen Hurts of the Philadelphia Eagles, Matthew Stafford of the Los Angeles Rams, and Jared Goff of the Detroit Lions are all talented, but Love has the most room to grow into elite territory.
Love with the Green Bay Packers last season completed 64.2% of his passes for 4,159 yards, 32 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. Even though it may be too early to bet on Love to win the NFL MVP next season, there may be many Packers fans or others who will bet that number for him to win the NFL MVP next season. People are noticing how great he can be for this franchise moving forward.
