The NFL world can only speculate now
Aaron Rodgers has left the Pat McAfee Show to head toward outer darkness. The four-time NFL MVP has the NFL world speculating what his 2023 plans will be after he gave a cryptic answer about his future. Rodgers has been rumored to be a trade candidate to several quarterback-needy NFL teams.
Rodgers still has not decided if he’ll play in 2023. He could very well retire. He plans to go on a “darkness retreat” to clear his mind before he makes his final decision on if he’ll play football next season. From there, he could come back to the Packers, or he could be traded to a team of his choice.
Rodgers was on the Pat McAfee Show Tuesday. McAfee brought up potential AFC teams he could be traded to the Indianapolis Colts, New York Jets, and Las Vegas Raiders. According to Matt Schneidman with The Athletic, Rodgers gave a cryptic reply about Green Bay:
“Eighteen years, man. That’s always gonna be home,” Rodgers said.
