The future of Allen Lazard is completely up in the air. It seems as though the veteran wide receiver may have played his last game for the Green Bay Packers. Aaron Rodgers may or may not be on his way out of town and there are plenty of players on the roster who either need new deals or will walk to head elsewhere. Lazard certainly fits that description. He recently posted on social media that may suggest his time in Green Bay is actually over and he is on to his next destination.
Allen Lazard Posts Message On Social Media That The NFL World Reacts To
Today Allen Lazard posted this on his Twitter:
Thank you 🙏🏽
— Allen Lazard 👑 (@AllenLazard) January 27, 2023
Allen Lazard had some pretty eye-opening comments after the Packers’ loss to the Lions. “I don’t know where I’m going to be at. I can’t worry about someone else,” Lazard said, standing at his locker. “Going into the game, I kind of had a realization that my first game here, and potentially my last game, which it is, was going to be against the Lions at home.” The writing is on the wall that Lazard has likely played his last game with the Packers. Today’s social media post led the NFL world to think that is even more so the case. These were some of the reactions:
Don’t leave us! 🧀💚💛

Watched you as a Cyclone, wanted the Packers to draft you, was so glad when they brought you in and have loved seeing the player you’ve become (in every way). You’re a Packer, and you always will be to us.

If Allen Lazard is indeed done with the Packers, he finishes 169 receptions, 2,236 yards and 20 touchdowns. Lazard became a starter in the 2020 season and made a huge impact as a blocker. The Packers may be tasked to replace his production in the running game this offseason.
