The NFL world reacts to major report for the New York Jets backfield
The New York Jets are plotting to have one of the most potent offensive rosters in the NFL next season, and the NFL world is taking notice. The Jets are on the cusp of trading for Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers’ trade news has sent dominoes falling across the league. The Jets added playmakers at wide receiver, such as Allen Lazard and Mecole Hardman. Now two other All-Pro offensive weapons are in the mix to join the Jets.
Odell Beckham Jr. is reported to have a mutual interest in playing for the Jets with his friend, Rodgers. Beckham’s presence would make the Jets’ wide receiver corps one of the best in the NFL. The Jets have an already solid situation in the backfield with Breece Hall, but another veteran player is now in the mix to join the offense.
According to Adam Schefter with ESPN, former Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott has named the Jets as one of three teams he wants to play for next season. The Philadelphia Eagles and Cincinnati Bengals are two other Super Bowl contenders he’s deciding on. The obvious appeal for Elliott to join the Jets would be to play with an elite roster led by Rodgers.
Cowboys’ RB Ezekiel Elliott has narrowed down his options about where to play to the Eagles, Jets and Bengals, and he would like to make his decision about where to sign by the end of next week, per sources.

I think the Jets will complete the trade for Aaron Rodgers eventually, but it’s kind of funny that they’re making all these moves and being linked to big name free agents like OBJ, Zeke, etc. but…they still haven’t actually traded for Aaron Rodgers yet 😂 Such a weird situation

The jets are about to go from one of the younger more promising teams to a team of “washed and mid” all in one offseason because Rodgers wants these guys 🤣🤣🤣

Do the Jets have an endless checkbook? I’m not understanding how they’re interested in Rodgers, OBJ, Zeek Elliot and some other Hall of Fame players all at the same time. Where’s the money coming from?
