No. 12 hasn’t even decided if he will play in 2023. However, the NFL world is convinced about where he will be traded. “Aaron Rodgers, Jets QB1” Tweets are already flying. However, during an interview on the Pat McAfee Show, Aaron Rodgers stated that any trade chatter is “all conjecture” until he decides what he wants to do in the future.  Rodgers has stated on multiple occasions that he has yet to decide whether he will return to Green Bay in 2023.  There have been NO official conversations between the Packers and Aaron Rodgers regarding a possible trade as of now.  If those talks heat up, the NFL community is convinced of where he will be headed.

NFL World Convinced Aaron Rodgers Jets Rumors Are Accurate

Many recent events have led to speculation regarding of Rodgers being traded to the Jets.  The two most recent ones really lit a fire under the Aaron Rodgers Jet srumors. First was the New York Jets owner Woody Johnson publicly announcing that he  would be happy to trade two first-round picks for Rodgers.  Per Dov Kleiman:

The Packers will want at least two 1st round picks in a trade for QB Aaron Rodgers, Peter King shares in his column. King adds that Jets owner Woody Johnson would happily pay that price. The question remains if Rodgers even wants to play for NY.
The second happened today when the Jets hired former Packers Offensive Coordinator Nathaniel Hackett.  Hackett was hired to be the offensive coordinator of the Packers in 2019. In 2020 and 2021 the Packers’ offense was near the top of the league in nearly every meaningful statistic. Additionally, Aaron Rodgers won back-to-back league MVPs when Hackett was the OC. In 2022, Hackett was hired by the Denver Broncos to be the head coach. At that time it was also unsure whether or not Aaron Rodgers would return, and if it would be with the Packers.  Could New York be targeting Hackett to try to lure Aaron Rodgers to the Jets?  New York Jets Head Coach responded to that question by saying simply “no.”  However, little believe he is being honest.  Social media went wild thinking that this hire would bring Aaron Rodgers to the Jets:

Jets first question: Can you get us Aaron Rodgers?

    Hackett: Probably not..

    Jets: But you know him?

Hackett: I worked with him, yeah..

    Jets: You're hired!
