NFL Community Reacts To Aaron Rodgers’ Comments On Pat McAfee Show

The 2022 NFL season is almost over and there are just four teams remaining with hopes of winning a Super Bowl. Unfortunately, the Green Bay Packers are not one of those teams this time around. For the Packers, the future of superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been the only thing that the media can talk about.

At this point in time, it seems like Rodgers and the Packers are about to go through a divorce. Everyone seems to think that Rodgers will not only want to continue playing, but also be traded to another team. That may or may not be the case, but that has been buzzing everywhere over the last week.

Thankfully, Rodgers has allowed the entire NFL world to hear what he has to say during weekly appearances on the Pat McAfee Show. He is always open and honest and was happy to answer questions about his future with the Packers and in the NFL in general.

Perhaps the biggest topic of discussion this week was what Rodgers’ conversations with the Packers have been like. He touched on that subject in one segment.

The NFL Community Reacts To Aaron Rodgers’ Comments

Following the clips being shared on Twitter, the NFL community did not waste time reading into the comments. Let’s take a look at how the community reacted to the superstar quarterback’s latest comments.

This team will provide a soft landing for all and any OG QBs who want cushy pre-retirement seasons… plus free hotdogs! 🌭😅

Two things we learned today. 1. Aaron Rodgers still makes fun of the media creating ideas about what will happen to him. 2. He is open to the idea that a pay cut is necessary to help the team keep and add people. #gopackgo

Aaron Rodgers just name dropped Johnson & Johnson as a company trying to "silence" him over his "Covid beliefs" #jets

Aaron Rodgers come to the Jets, help us make the playoffs and fix our broken #2 overall pick challenge? https://t.co/Rn0X3kgWEs

Those are just a few of the reactions during and after Rodgers’ appearance on the Pat McAfee Show this week. To say that he is the hottest topic in the NFL would be an understatement.

Looking seriously at the situation, a trade would make a lot of sense for both the Packers and Rodgers. He would be able to head somewhere that can help him compete for a Super Bowl. Green Bay, on the other hand, would be able to move forward with Jordan Love under center, who they have openly stated is ready to play now.

It would be a sad day to see Aaron Rodgers playing in a different jersey. No one in Green Bay could ever forget how painful it was to watch Brett Favre do the exact same thing. However, at some point in time, what’s best for the team and franchise may not be what’s best for the emotions of everyone involved.

From his play on the field to being his unapologetic self, there is no one who is a Packers fan that will look back at Rodgers’ tenure with anything less than pure enjoyment. He has made such an impact on Green Bay and the franchise and no matter what the future holds, he will always have Packers fans behind him.
