The Green Bay Packers might not be done adding to their wide receiver corps in the preseason. The Packers showed interest in a former Detroit Lions wide receiver.
The Packers have a young wide receiver and tight end corps this season. They, and the Packers backfield, helped haul in 254 yards receiving against the Cincinnati Bengals Friday night. The team still wants to improve the position.

Thompson is a UDFA initially signed by the Detroit Lions in April.
Thompson could be a versatile athlete for Green Bay. He played quarterback for Missive before transferring to Virginia and playing wide receiver.
Thompson finished with 139 receptions, 1,675 yards receiving, and four total touchdowns in his college career. He added over 1,000 yards rushing and 18 total rushing touchdowns in college.
As of this publishing, Thompson has not been signed by the Packers.
