Pittsburgh Steelers legend Ben Roethlisberger has high respect for Aaron Rodgers. In one of his podcast episodes last month, he said that his former team will have better chances against the Green Bay Packers if the four-time MVP is there.

His being realistic now. Rodgers can provide great value to the Steelers but that is it for him after the 2025 season. He think Rodgers won’t be able to play again the next season.
“I don’t think he’s got much more after this year,” Roethlisberger said in his own podcast titled “Footbahlin”.
“This might be it for him, personally. I’m just guessing. Coming off my elbow, my first year back, I felt like I was 100. You don’t realize you’re not 100 until the next year, when you are 100.”

Big Ben, who won two Super Bowls with the only NFL team he played for, was one of those who were very patient about Rodgers who was predicted to announce his NFL signing by June 10.
The partnership became official on June 8.
Big Ben breaks down Aaron Rodgers’ possible last hurrah
Rodgers actually has some retirement thoughts. He said last month that he would welcome coming back to the Green Bay Packers, the team he won his only Super Bowl and four MVPs with, for his last year as an NFL pro.
Will his health allow it though? Roethlisberger is skeptical about it given the 41-year-old quarterback’s injury history.

“He’s coming, one year last year off his Achilles,” Big Ben said.
“He’s probably like, ‘I felt pretty good.’ This year, he’s going to be better in the sense of (his) body feeling better. That doesn’t mean he’ll play better. There’s a lot of other factors on that.”
