NFL: The Green Bay Packers have a completely new look on offense. In one off-season they became one of the youngest in the NFL. The departure of Aaron Rodgers, Allen Lazard, Randall Cobb, Marcedes Lewis, and Robert Tonyan ushered in a new group of starters. That being said, it will be interesting to see how the competition unfolds and who earns that true #1 spot at each position. One rookie tight end will have a little tougher time getting on the field to start the year.
Green Bay Packers Lose Rookie Tight End Camren McDonald To Injury List (NFL)

According to the official NFL transaction wire, the Packers placed OLB Rashan Gary, CB Eric Stokes, C Jake Hanson and WR Jeff Cotton on the physically unable to perform list to start camp and WR Grant DuBose and TE Camren McDonald on the non-football injury list
Camren McDonald (6-4, 237) caught 74 passes for 861 yards and five touchdowns over 58 games and 30 starts during his college career. His 312 receiving yards in 2022 with the Florida State Seminoles were a career high.
At Florida State’s pro day, McDonald ran the 40-yard dash in 4.98 seconds, hit 30″ in the vertical leap, covered 9-9 in the broad jump and did 19 reps on the bench press. His Relative Athletic Score is 2.52 out of 10.0, mostly due to a slow 40-yard dash time.
McDonald landed with the Packers as an un-drafted free agent this offseason. He is the third rookie tight end on the roster, as Green Bay reloaded at the position with Luke Musgrave and Tucker Kraft during the draft. He seemingly is a long shot to land on the final 53-man roster, but he is still eligible to practice and play in the preseason at any point.
