Aaron Rodgers has completely captivated the NFL media, but not because of anything that he has actually done. Instead, trade rumors are running rampant once again without any decision being made from Rodgers or the Green Bay Packers. This isn’t something new, as it happened a lot over the past couple of years as well.
Despite all of the rumors, the Packers and Rodgers are the only two parties that will have anything to say about the situation.
The superstar quarterback has been vocal about taking time to make his decision. He has stated that he should be ready to make that decision within the next couple of weeks. Fans cannot wait to figure out what direction the franchise will be headed.
Aaron Rodgers To Return To The Packers?
One former NFL executive spoke to NFL Analysis Network about Rodgers’ future with the Packers. He seems to think that Rodgers will make his return for another season in Green Bay.
“I actually think something completely different. I think Aaron Rodgers will be back in Green Bay. The rumors have flown over the last couple of years, but I don’t think the Packers are ready to ship him out of town.”
That is a big change of pace from the direction that the rest of the media seems to be heading. Everyone has already written off a Rodgers trade as a done deal. The only thing left to discuss has been what compensation the Packers would receive for their superstar quarterback.
At this point in time, fans are split on what they want the franchise to do. Some want to see Aaron Rodgers back for one more run, while others are ready to move forward with Jordan Love under center. After weeks of waiting, an answer being finally given will be a breath of fresh air.

There is no question that Rodgers still has some good football left in him. Even with a broke thumb and a few other nagging injury issue, he completed 64.6 percent of his pass attempts for 3,695 yards, 26 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. Those numbers also came with a rough wide receiver corps featuring mostly rookies and the loss of Davante Adams.
Granted, this is just one persons opinion. Rodgers still very well could end up being traded. However, it does help pump the brakes on the nearly guarantee that the media has had on Aaron Rodgers leaving the Packers.
