The Green Bay Packers have been well-known for being involved in their community. Being the smallest market in the NFL (just over 100,000 citizens in Green Bay) creates a tight bond with the locals and surrounding areas. That is something that has always made the Green Bay Packers unique in their own right. After recent events in the NFL, the Packers decided to make an impact in their local community once again.
Green Bay Packers Donate AEDs Throughout The State Of Wisconsin And UP Michigan
Per Matt Schneidman of The Athletic:
In light of the Damar Hamlin incident, the Packers and Bellin Health are funding $100,000 toward providing 80 AEDs to school and rec sports leagues and facilities in need throughout Wisconsin and the UP of Michigan, as well as expanding access to CPR and AED training.
Buffalo Bills’ 24-year-old safety Damar Hamlin tackled Bengals’ receiver Tee Higgins near the end of the first quarter of their “Monday Night Football” matchup on January 2nd. As Hamlin attempted to get back to his feet following the collision, he fell back down to the ground. Teammates frantically waved in medical staff as the situation quickly grew dire, and an ambulance rushed Hamlin off the field and to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in what quickly became a terrifying scene. It has been widely reported that the immediate CPR given to Hamlin that night played a huge role in saving his life. The Packers decided make an impact of their own in the state of Wisconsin and Michigan in order to prevent a worse outcome than Hamlin’s in the event something like that ever happened again. Many reactions on Twitter were extremely grateful:

Packers you are GREAT! What a wonderful Life-Giving Gift for the residence of Wisconsin and the UP. I grew up in Madison and I am a Packers Fan for life!

One more example of why the Packers are so great. Taking the lead to support the communities. And even greater respect that it was to show respect for a football player for an opposing team. What a great example of both sportsmanship and compassion.
While this is a very good thing for the Green Bay Packers to have done the headline was misleading, people come to your site to learn about the events that are related to the sport.
Since the organization is owned by shareholders who will never realize a divided it is a very proper way to handle the profit, but should not be used to trick people into reading this article. This is an example of dishonesty in journalism, hence the decrease in confidence and trust of the media.
Not everybody knows all those stupid alphabet initials and what they mean.
To that end, what is “AED” ?
automated external defibrillator
For the massive amount of heart attacks taking place amongst young people that are now having them. Wierd how all this started in the last two years, it’s like everybody that is having them took the same ‘medicine’ or something.
Even wielder how the media refuses to report on why tens of thousands of twenty-somethings are suddenly having heart attacks.
It couldn’t be because they get 80% of their revenue from Pfizer, could it?
