The New York Jets went all out to get Aaron Rodgers on their team for (at least) the 2023 season. The franchise-altering Aaron Rodgers trade has captivated headlines all off-season. However, we are hearing reports out of New York that serious allegations are being made against the team, and one came out right as the Aaron Rodgers trade went down.
The New York Jets Are Facing Serious Player Allegations Amid Aaron Rodgers Trade

According to Milo Taibi of New York City Sports:
Free agent running back Ty Johnson made waves this week, detailing his firsthand account of getting released by the Jets.
As he recalled, the Jets insisted he undergo a medical procedure that he was leery of. But Johnson had the surgery performed, only to be released by the team when they acquired Aaron Rodgers.
If the story was accurate, it wouldn’t be a great look for the Jets. And now, current Jet Mekhi Becton has come forward with similarly damaging allegations against the club. Here’s what the offensive tackle had to say about his injury woes.
“I hurt my right knee. That’s going to be the knee that I put the most pressure on [while backpedaling in pass protection]. I explained it [to the coaches], but no one cared,” Becton said of an injury he suffered last season.
“I got forced to play a position I don’t play. I was pretty much telling them I wasn’t feeling good the whole time throughout camp and I was told I shouldn’t be complaining. Go out there and do it. I was limping throughout the whole practice, and I just took a step and my knee buckled and I got hurt again and had to get reconstructive knee surgery.”
Becton is in a sensitive position, competing for playing time when coach Robert Saleh has made it known he’ll have to earn a starting job.
But he felt this was a subject matter that he couldn’t be silent about, and Becton spoke his mind. It remains to be seen how- and if- this impacts Becton’s future as a Jet.
Aaron Rodgers has been one to advocate for player health (as well as mental health) for years now. These type of accusations really make you wonder if Rodgers would have second thought his decision to be traded to the Jets. One thing the Green Bay Packers are known for is playing the “safe side” of injuries to their players. They had no problem allowing David Bakhtiari nearly 20 months to recover from a torn ACL, and even when he returned, he was on a snap count to start.

This entire debacle has been nothing short of ridiculous. Between the Packers lack luster willingness of loyalty, to Rodgers acting like a child, albeit a $40 million dollar child. Now this? NOTHING will shock me now. I see karma hitting both teams. The Packers and Jordan Lose will do just that. Green Bay’s 2023 record? 5-12-0, maybe 5-11-1. The NY Jests record? 6-11-0, maybe 9-8-0 if Rodgers can stay healthy and tolerate this team’s health crises. 🤔 All in all both team’s will be non factors in 2023.
