Jericho Sims did not see minutes in the Milwaukee Bucks‘ last game after being traded by the New York Knicks but fans should just wait a little longer.

Everybody thought the game against the Atlanta Hawks, which Milwaukee dropped, would have been a perfect first game for Sims in Bucks uniform as Giannis Antetokounmpo was declared out.
However, that did not happen and some are feeling antsy.
Sims is preaching patience as he said he already talked to head coach Doc Rivers about his possible role and that he is always keeping himself ready.
“I’m excited, getting to talk to Doc it looks like he has some good things in store, so just keep on working hard,” he said after the Hawks game.
“I feel like I could fill a void of just being the athletic and active guy that I am I feel like I can help us a lot.”

Sims is a 58th overall pick of 2021 and is one of two new Bucks this mid-season, the other one being Kyle Kuzma who unlike him was able to play and showed what he can contribute to the team.

The Greek Freak went to a lot of battles against the Knicks but only a few minutes of them were against Sims.
This is because Sims is on the third level of the Knicks bench depth, having to wait for his turn behind Karl Anthony-Towns (this season) and Mitchell Robinson. He also had to compete for minutes with Isaiah Hartenstein before.
Fans and analysts thought the Bucks needed a big man and now, they have one. What would Sims role be?
He said it would be his defense.

He is also excited to learn and play with Giannis who is the anchor of the Bucks defense.
“Oh yeah, just seeing the things that he’s done, even playing against him, watchin’ from the sideline, it doesn’t matter, like, he’s an amazing player and I’m excited to learn from him.”
