It has been one week since the Milwaukee Brewers traded Kolten Wong to the Seattle Mariners for Jesse Winker and Abraham Toro. After the trade, Winker opened up about his thoughts towards the city of Milwaukee. Today, on MLB Network, he was interviewed and discussed his feelings surrounding the trade.
Jesse Winker joined @MLBNetwork and shared his mindset on coming to Milwaukee.
"I’ve always enjoyed going to Milwaukee and playing. I love the city and I'm excited to get there and get started with everybody"

On What He Likes About Hitting at American Family Field
“Oh I don’t know… it’s just a great place to play. I always enjoyed going to Milwaukee and I’m excited about getting there and getting it started with everybody.”
On Questions Surrounding His Health
My colleague, Tyler Koerth, had a fantastic article about the various concerns that there are surrounding Winker’s health.
“You know, the way I like at it, we as baseball players, you know, we all want to compete, we all want to play, and if I’m able to get up and go play, I’m going to go play. Everybody plays through stuff and you know, it’s a no excuse league. I had a bad year last year, it’s just that simple. I’m looking forward to being healthy and moving forward, and I’m super stoked about being in Milwaukee. It’s a special place, it’s a special city.
