Here are some of the best reactions to Marquette’s seed in the NCAA Tournament
The Marquette Golden Eagles are arguably one of the hottest teams in all of college basketball going into the 2023 NCAA Tournament. And on Sunday, they received some good news.
Marquette earned a No. 2 seed in the East Region, opening up their NCAA Tournament run against No. 15 Vermont later this week. After winning the Big East Tournament, Marquette’s stock rose significantly and it helped them climb the rankings to a No. 2 seed.
As the news broke across the screen for the bracket reveal on CBS Sports, Marquette fans and national analysts took to Twitter to react to the seeding. Here are some of the best reactions:

If Providence and Marquette each win two games, we're getting a Big East rematch at Madison Square Garden.

Nervous about Marquette's match with Vermont. Vermont's a 15 Seed, but they're on a 15-game win streak and looking dangerous. But I trust Shaka Smart.

The No. 2 seed is the highest in Marquette basketball history as they look to capture another national championship. However, this first game will be no easy task as Vermont is a good No. 15 seed and will be poised to land an upset.
Let’s hope Shaka Smart and his team are ready to play this week and can make a big run in this NCAA Tournament.
