NBA news: As soon as the season ended for the Milwaukee Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo went under the knife for a cleanup procedure on his problematic left knee. The former back-to-back MVP has been working hard to get himself ready for the new season, and apparently, he’s been getting a lot of help from one specific person along the way.
NBA News: Giannis Antetokounmpo Credits Son Mav in Road to Recovery
On Thursday, Giannis took to Instagram to share a trio of endearing photos of himself in the weight room working out with his two-year-old son, Mav. According to the Bucks talisman, his kid has been a key part of his road to recovery:
“Rehab with a lot of Mav, Paw Patrol and shooting 🤎,” Giannis wrote in his caption.

In case you were wondering, the Paw Patrol reference pertains to the highly popular cartoon that has earned quite a massive following among children. In Giannis’ photos, the blue and white toy car belongs to Chase, who happens to be one of the characters on the show.
Giannis, who is now a father of two, clearly has a lot more to play for now that he has his own family at home.
NBA News: Giannis Antetokounmpo Still Doubtful for FIBA World Cup
Despite his best effort, however, Giannis Antetokounmpo is still a doubt to suit up for Greece for the upcoming FIBA World Cup. The Bucks star is reportedly closing in on making his final decision on whether he will play in the tournament or not, and you can be sure that Milwaukee’s medical team will play a key role in all this.
It goes without saying that Giannis is the best player on the Greek national team, and without him, their chances of achieving a medal finish in the World Cup diminishes significantly.
