Boston Celtics legend Paul Pierce is a butt of jokes in the NBA internet again after his bet to do a walk of shame fired back.
The 10-time All-Star staked his whole image hours before the tip off saying he is ready to do a walk of shame if the Celts fail to make 1-1.

“If the Celtics lose Game 2 at home… I’m walking here, 15 miles! I’m walking here, In my robe, no shoes on, bare feet,” he said during an appearance at the FS1 show.
“Put the house on this game!… No shot we losing, there’s no chance. You got a better chance at walking out of the studio and seeing a Dinosaur.”
He was so sure that Boston will win the second game. He thought wrong.
The Celtics lead by as much as 20 during the third quarter but saw the lead melted down to the last one minute.

Jalen Brunson converted two free throws with 12 seconds to go give the Knicks the lead, 91-90. Jayson Tatum operated to find a good look but he was blocked by Mikal Bridges. Game over.
Pierce is aware of his epic failure and even posted a map on X that says he’ll have to walk for eight hours to fulfill the bet.
Paul Pierce did that to Milwaukee Bucks before
Pierce has been known as someone who makes controversial takes on topics related to the NBA.
Just recently, he said that Giannis Antetokounmpo needs fresh air and must leave the Bucks.

His current failure is reminiscent of the time he counted out Milwaukee in their series with the Celtics.
The two teams met in the second round of the 2019 playoffs and Celtics won the first game by double digits. Pierce then quickly made a declaration that the series is over because of that.
The Bucks went on to win the next four games. Pierce became a laughing stock on the internet. He still has the job as an analyst though.
