NBA news: The league announced on Monday the All-Rookie Team for 2023-24. As expected, Victor Wembanyama and Chet Holmgren headlined the list of the five most impactful rookies this season.
Joining the big names on the esteemed list is Golden State Warriors shooting guard Brandin Podziemski, who happens to be a native of Greenfield, Wisconsin.
NBA News: Wisconsin Native Brandin Podziemski Named in All-Rookie Team
After a remarkable debut campaign with Golden State, Podziemski has been included in the first team of the All-Rookie squad for this past season. He is joined by Wembanyama, Holmgren, Brandon Miller, and Jaime Jaquez Jr.

This is an undeniably impressive achievement for Podziemski, who averaged 9.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 3.7 assists, while also knocking down 1.2 triples in 26.6 minutes per game for Golden State.
Podziemski, who is an alumnus of St. John’s Northwestern Military Academy in Delafield, Wisconsin, was the 19th overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. He firmly established himself as a key rotational piece for Steve Kerr’s side this past season, and it appears that this young man will feature heavily in the franchise’s future.
It will be very interesting to see what the 21-year-old will be able to do in the league next season now that he has a full season under his belt.
