One of the biggest storylines this NFL offseason has been whether or not Aaron Rodgers will retire from the league. He was released from the New York Jets during the offseason.

Rodgers also had a successful career with the Green Bay Packers. According to CBS Sports Aditi Kinkhabwala, Aaron Rodgers is more likely to retire than sign with a team that’s not a Super Bowl contender. This is interesting because he was showing some interest in the Pittsburgh Steelers, but the Minnesota Vikings were also a contender to sign Rodgers in the offseason.
NFL Fans React To Latest Aaron Rodgers Report

The 41-year-old quarterback has a lot of fans who do not like him at all. Despite some teams still needing a quarterback, there is not much of a market for him. If he doesn’t land with the Steelers, it would be understandable as to why he would rather retire. Some NFL fans said about this latest news on Twitter:
The guy is holding out hope for Vikings. Plain and simple.

He’s a piece of work… I guess if he doesn’t think the Steelers are contenders then he might as well retire because they seem to be the only team interested in him🤷♂️😂😂😂

I have been feeling that he doesn’t play this season. Or at least not when training camp starts. He might be waiting until someone needs a QB

Sounds like sit around and wait/hope for an injury to a starter on a contender. My how the mighty have fallen.

Honestly it’s not a bad idea. I mean he shouldn’t retire he should just chill ar home and when a starter for a good team gets injured he can sign with them. The guy is annoying as hell but it’s tye way to go in my opinion.

If he is waiting for the Vikings, it would not be a surprise. Minnesota would be a better destination for him to win a Super Bowl than the Steelers.
