The Milwaukee Brewers farm system has been in the news for good reason these days. On Tuesday night in the minor leagues, the Biloxi Shuckers, their Double-A team, did something very rare. They hit three consecutive home runs in one inning and it occurred in the fifth inning.
Lamar Sparks, Tyler Black, and Jackson Chourio all went back-to-back-to-back. This happened against the Montgomery Biscuits, the Tampa Bay Rays Double-A Affiliate.

They won the game on Tuesday night by a final score of 13-6. Sparks hit his fourth home run of the season on Tuesday night. He is not currently ranked as one of the top 30 prospects in the Milwaukee Brewers farm system.
Black and Chourio each hit their 13 home runs of the season in the minor leagues. They are both ranked in the top five in the Milwaukee Brewers system. Tyler Black and Jackson Chourio could very well be making their way to Triple-A with the Nashville Sounds sooner rather than later.
Lamar Sparks only has 21 RBIs on the season, but Tyler Black has 40 RBIs on the season and Jackson Chourio has 54 RBIs on the season. To go along with the three consecutive home runs in the same game, Chourio also hit two more double on Tuesday night and has 16 total doubles on the season.
The Future Is Bright for the Milwaukee Brewers
The Milwaukee Brewers fanbase can not wait for him to get to the major leagues. Sparks went 1-for 4, Black went 4-for-6, and Chourio went 3-for-5 in this game as well. There is a lot of talented players in this farm system.
It is very rare in baseball to hit three consecutive home runs in the same game. They will continue this six-game series on the road on Wednesday night in Montgomery, Alabama. The Biloxi Shuckers will continue to make news down in the minor leagues because of the top prospects the Milwaukee Brewers have. It will be interesting to see what happens with these prospects moving forward.
