The winter meetings of Major League Baseball are taking place this weekend in San Diego. This in and of itself is very exciting. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the meetings were held virtually in 2020 and 2021. Ahead of the first in-person winter meetings since 2019, ESPN polled several Major League executives. One of the questions that they were asked was “Who will be the most notable player traded?” Seven different players were named, including two Milwaukee Brewers.

Brewers Ace Corbin Burnes Was Named Twice by MLB Execs
In total, 14 MLB execs were polled by ESPN. There were two players who were named by three different executives: Sean Murphy and Pedro Lopez. Three players were named twice, including Corbin Burnes. Of course, there has been speculation surrounding when/if the Brewers would trade Burnes ever since the Josh Hader trade. Burnes is easily one of the most attractive names in terms of trade rumors. The 2021 NL Cy Young winner has two more years of club control remaining before he hits free agency. That being said, it would cost a great deal to pry him away from the Brewers.
Kolten Wong Was Named by One MLB Exec
In addition to Burnes, the Brewers had one more player named as the most notable player who could be traded: Kolten Wong. The Brewers picked up his $10 million club option earlier this offseason. There is some speculation, though, that the team did this with the intention of trading him. It would appear that at least one MLB executive agrees.

WoW the names on the Brewers Rouster in 2023 will be unknown to the fans.
Do you really want Milwaukee to have a team?
I would say no you don’t for how you traded our team in 2022 & now going into 2023.
I believe that you are going that way just like in 1963. WoW
