The Minnesota Timberwolves was in total cruise control against the Milwaukee Bucks. The Timberwolves once had a 95-71 lead in the game against Milwaukee. However, Minnesota saw that lead evaporate and lost by a final score of 110-103.

With the win, the Bucks improved to 45-34 on the season and they are the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference. As for the Timberwolves, they dropped to 46-33 on the season and they are eighth seed in the Western Conference. This was a bad loss for Chris Finch’s squad.

Minnesota Timberwolves Fans Call For Head Coach Chris Finch To Be Fired After Collapse Against the Milwaukee Bucks

On Tuesday, the Denver Nuggets shockingly fired head coach Mike Malone right before the playoffs. Earlier this season, the Memphis Grizzlies fired head coach Taylor Jenkins. With these two head coaches being fired before the playoffs, it appears as if Timberwolves fans want the same to happen with Finch, although they made it to the Western Conference Finals last season.

This is what Minnesota fans said about Finch on social media:

    LEAVE FINCH IN MILWAUKEE

    — Alex Matthew (Golf Legend) (@alex_golflegend) April 9, 2025

IF THE NUGGETS CAN FIRE THEIR COACH SO CAN WE.

    — J (@who_is_josh_) April 9, 2025

Ant wanted the franchise record and left the game

Mcdaniels would rather make mc’chickens the buckets
    Randle can stay in Milwaukee
    Donte did ok
    Conley can go into retirement
    FIRE CHRIS FINCH

Be like the Nuggets and fire the coach you’re a pitiful franchise

    — Pat (@pat1622) April 9, 2025

There are a lot of Minnesota fans who want a new head coach after the loss against the Bucks. It’s amazing that they want to do the same thing that Denver did with Malone on Tuesday.

Anthony Edwards led Minnesota with 25 points. He shot 37.0% from the field and also grabbed seven rebounds, recorded four assists, blocked one shot, and recorded one steal. One of the main reasons why the Bucks’ stormed back was because of Giannis Antetokounmpo. He scored 23 points. Antetokounmpo also shot 60% from the field. He also grabbed 13 rebounds, recorded 10 assists, blocked one shot, and recorded one steal.

There are only a few games left in the NBA regular season for both teams. Minnesota will next play on Thursday on the road against the Grizzlies and the Bucks will next play against the New Orleans Pelicans at home on Thursday.
