The Milwaukee Milkmen, located in Franklin Wisconsin, will open their season on the road May 12th. But the club has recently announced its home opener. That game is set for Tuesday May 16th against the Cleburne Railroaders from Texas.
The Milkmen were not 2022 playoff champions last season in the American Association of Professional Baseball. Last year’s playoff champs were the Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks. They did have an excellent season and expect to be competitive again. The club prides itself on a great game day experience.

Brief Recap of last year (2022 season)
The Milkmen play in the American Association of Professional Baseball. Labelled as a league that “ plays for the love of the game” the Milkmen have a full 2023 schedule set. You can view that here. (One of the major draws are ‘theme nights’. Those have yet to be announced.)
One of the points of pride for the American Association of Professional Baseball has been when players are called up to the minor leagues or to MLB itself. While this league is not a direct partner with MLB, the players play hard and move “up” just like anywhere else.
Milwaukee also was second in its division last year; they play in the East Division. They are managed by Anthony Barone. Their record was 53-47 in the regular season.
Bryann Torres, an infielder on last year’s team, won the regular season American Association Batting Crown, hitting .374.
Keon Barnum, Hector Sanchez and Miguel Gomez all led the Milkmen in the playoffs with three homeruns a piece.
Future Events/ Dates
Final roster moves and other coaching changes etc. have yet to be finalized. Then again, the same holds true for the Brewers and the MLB. But as we become aware of new information here at wi sports heroics, we will keep you in the loop.
The Milkmen are located at 7035 S Ballpark Drive in Franklin, WI. Five game “mini-packages” are now available via their website
