The Milwaukee Bucks and Jae Crowder rumors continue to heat up.
As the NBA trade deadline continues to near, Jae Crowder is one of the hottest names on the market with a reported number of suitors to join their club ahead of the February 9th trade deadline.
Could The Bucks Be Adding Jae Crowder To Their Championship Caliber Roster?
However, according to Action Network’s Matt Moore, the Milwaukee Bucks are nearing a deal for the veteran forward, with the only hiccup being the addition of a third team. Per the report, that hiccup could be short lasting as the Bucks have reportedly found the Houston Rockets as an interested third party to allow the Bucks to complete a deal with the Phoenix Suns to acquire the disgruntled Crowder.
Bucks fans hoping to add the local Marquette-product to an already championship caliber roster may have to hold off on breaking out their Marquette Crowder jerseys as the Rockets aren’t quite ready to put pen to paper and are asking the Bucks for more draft compensation in order to join the mix in allowing the Bucks and Suns to finish off their reported deal.
Jae Crowder Career Bio
Jae Crowder struggled to find a D1 offer following his high school career at Villa Rica High School in Villa Rica, Georgia and committed to South Georgia Technical College. However, after leading SGTC to a NJCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Championship, he transferred to Marquette. Crowder would spend his remaining years of collegiate eligibility with the Golden Eagles before being selected as the 34th overall pick by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2012 NBA Draft but was traded to the Dallas Mavericks on draft night. Crowder has spent 10 seasons in the NBA, playing for the Dallas Mavericks, Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers, Utah Jazz, Memphis Grizzlies, Miami Heat, and his current team, the Phoenix Suns.
