One big name that has been linked to the Milwaukee Bucks as a potential summer trade target is Kyle Kuzma of the Washington Wizards. The one-time NBA champion forward is the type of flamboyant player that could add some much-needed juice to the Bucks roster for 2024-25.
Kuzma, however, will come at a hefty price tag. Bucks analysts Ti Windisch and Rohan Katti discuss the prospect of Milwaukee potentially making a move on Kuz and whether or not he would be worth having to part ways with Brook Lopez.
Milwaukee Bucks Trade Proposal: Brook Lopez for Kyle Kuzma
Both Katti and Windisch are amenable to adding Kuzma into the mix. His best asset would be the scoring punch he brings to the table as a potential third (or fourth) option behind Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard.
The catch, however, is if the Wizards even want Lopez. Washington seems destined for another lottery finish next season, and adding a battle-tested veteran could be counterproductive to their objectives. On paper, Lopez would be a better fit on a team that wants to contend, thereby making this potential blockbuster deal a bit complicated.

If the Bucks land Kuzma, however, it would be a massive win for them. This past season, the 28-year-old averaged a career-best 22.2 points on 46.3 percent shooting (also a career-high mark), 6.6 rebounds, and 4.3 assists, while also knocking down 2.2 triples per game. Those aren’t shabby numbers at all.
Somehow, Kuzma feels like a piece that could potentially elevate the Bucks into the region of title favorites in 2024-25 — on paper, at least.
