Former Milwaukee Bucks draft pick and NBA champion Sam Merrill is on the move again. According to The Athletic‘s Shams Charania, Merrill is signing a 10-day contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The Cleveland Cavaliers are planning to sign guard Sam Merrill to a 10-day contract out of their NBA G League Charge affiliate, sources tell me and @kelseyyrusso.

Merrill was the first overall pick in the 2022-23 NBA G-League Draft by the Cleveland Charge. He was the 60th (last) pick of the NBA Draft when the Bucks took him in 2020.
Former Milwaukee Bucks Guard Sam Merrill Has Been Bouncing Around the NBA
After winning a championship with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2021, Sam Merrill was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies for Grayson Allen. Merrill appeared in just six games with the Grizzlies before they waived him before the season ended.
Prior to this current season, Merrill signed a multi-year contract with the Sacramento Kings. However, the Kings waived him in October. As mentioned previously, he was then drafted with the first overall pick in the NBA G-League Draft.
