Milwaukee Bucks’ Patrick Beverley Reveals True Feelings on Wild 2024 NBA Playoffs

The 2024 NBA Playoffs and most of the series that have were decided so far have been insane. Among those who felt this way is no other than Milwaukee Bucks star Patrick Beverley.

During the first round, two teams managed to complete a sweep of their opponents – the Minnesota Timberwolves against Kevin Durant’s Phoenix Suns and the Oklahoma City Thunder against the New Orleans Pelicans. Meanwhile the Denver Nuggets, Dallas Mavericks, New York Knicks, Indiana Pacers, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Boston Celtics all advanced to the next round.

Unfortunately, the Bucks found themselves on the losing end when Indiana eliminated them in six games. Playing without Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee was already at a disadvantage against the Tyrese Haliburton-led squad. With All-Star guard Damian Lillard missing half the series, the Pacers eventually came out on top.

Even if that’s the case, this year’s batch of playoff showdowns don’t lack in excitement across the board. As seen in the number of exciting games and moments in recent games, the hype around the postseason is definitely real.

Unlike in the past decade, there’s no way of telling who’s going to win it all during the playoffs. As a result, the postseason has been a wild ride, a claim Beverley has echoed in a tweet he posted on X:

Playoffs are so 🔥🔥🔥🔥 this year

    — Patrick Beverley (@patbev21) May 19, 2024

Just recently, a pair of series was decided in a Game 7. The first saw the Minnesota Timberwolves defeat Nikola Jokic’s Denver Nuggets while the second saw Jalen Brunson’s New York Knicks fall at the hands of the Indiana Pacers. These games follow other showdowns that resulted in the Dallas Mavericks and Boston Celtics reaching the Conference Finals.

With the stage set for these four team to face each other, there’s going to be more reasons to catch these games. And like what Beverley said, the playoffs this year are going to be more exciting to watch.
