While he’s known as a fierce competitor on the court, Milwaukee Bucks veteran guard Patrick Beverley can readily give credit where it is due. This was recently seen when the controversial star congratulated both the Boston Celtics and Panathinaikos for their respective victories.
Just recently, the All-Star duo of Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum led Boston to the NBA Finals by sweeping the Indiana Pacers in four games. In their final match of the series, Brown dropped 29 points and six rebounds while Tatum tallied 26 points 13, rebounds, and eight assists. Meanwhile, Jrue Holiday and Derrick White each had 17 and 16 points, respectively.

On the other hand, Panathinaikos conquered Real Madrid in the EuroLeague Finals with a score of 95-80. Kostas Sloukas came up big from the bench by tallying 24 points while former Miami Heat star Kendrick Nunn had 21 points in 24 minutes. As a result, head coach Ergin Ataman clinched his third EuroLeague title while Kostas Antetokounmpo won his first this year.
After going through the East, the Celtics are bound to face either Luka Doncic’s Dallas Mavericks or Anthony Edwards’ Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA Finals. On the other hand, Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo called Ataman the best coach in the world while congratulating his brother for being a EuroLeague champion.
Milwaukee Bucks Guard Patrick Beverley Congratulates Boston Celtics and Panathinaikos For Their Respective Victories

Beverley is among the few active stars who have played both in the NBA and in Europe. This prompted the Bucks guard to congratulate Boston and Panathinaikos in a post on X for coming out on top of their respective matches.
“Congrats EC Champs Boston Celtics and Congrats to Panathinaikos been locked in to NBA and Euroleague. Got a video dropping tomorrow comparing NBA vs Euroleague playoffs,” Beverley tweeted.
Before playing in the league, Beverley spent three years in Greece and Russia. From there, the controversial guard was given a contract by the Houston Rockets and has stayed in the league ever since.

While Panathinaikos’ run this season is over, the Celtics still need to win four more games to become champions. For sure, Beverley will keep his eye in the coming weeks to see who’ll come out on top of the NBA.
