Milwaukee Bucks guard Patrick Beverley has attempted to end the stirring debate on whether or not NBA players can easily transition to the NFL. This entire brouhaha has taken a life of its own after veteran guard Austin Rivers, the son of Bucks head coach Doc Rivers, claimed that NBA players would have no issue playing professional football.
Pat Bev has now chimed in with his own take on this polarizing issue.
Milwaukee Bucks News: Patrick Beverley Weighs In on NBA Vs. NFL Debate

In a recent episode of The Pat Bev Pod, Beverley had three-time Pro Bowler tight end Greg Olsen as the two discussed the raging debate that has garnered all sorts of reactions from both the NBA and the NFL.
At one point, Beverley revealed how he used to play football as a kid. After “37 seconds,” however, Pat Bev quickly realized that this sport wasn’t his calling:

Beverley further made his point by claiming to be one of the most physical players in the league today, but even he had to give up on football.

Olsen, though, made a very strong case for some of the elite athletes in the NBA playing in the NFL. He took Minnesota Timberwolves superstar Anthony Edwards as an example. According to Olsen, he could easily teach Edwards to be an NFL safety tomorrow.
This is a man who is speaking from experience here, so his opinion obviously holds a lot of weight. Whether or not this ends the debate, however, is an altogether different matter.
